CARICOM AI Association

The CARICOM AI Association publishes Caribbean-focused writing on artificial intelligence. The audience is broad: citizens, public servants, journalists, educators, regulators, executives, and the broader CARICOM public who are encountering AI in their daily and institutional lives and need writing that meets them where they are.

Editorial Principles

Plain language. Caribbean spelling. Caribbean framing. No em dashes, no AI-slop adjectives (delve, tapestry, ever-evolving, paramount, cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, robust, comprehensive, game-changer, supercharge, dive into, embark, realm, testament, seamless, treasure trove).

Every article carries JSON-LD contentLocation entries for all 15 CARICOM member states: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Imagery

Hero imagery on the site is either Caribbean flora and fauna (palms, mangroves, hummingbirds, orchids, mountains, rainforest, hibiscus, sea, frogs, herons) or abstract technology (circuit boards, data, code, network nodes), and every photo pre-dates the article it accompanies.
